Ménière's is characterized by recurrent episodes of vertigo, hearing loss and tinnitus; episodes may be accompanied by headache and a feeling of fullness in the ears.
People may also experience additional symptoms related to irregular reactions of the autonomic nervous system. These symptoms are not symptoms of Meniere's disease but rather are side effects resulting from failure of the organ of hearing and balance, and include nausea, vomiting, and sweating—which are typically symptoms of vertigo, and not of Ménière's. This includes a sensation of being pushed sharply to the floor from behind.
Sudden falls without loss of consciousness (drop attacks) may be experienced by some people.
Same condition may occur in case of accidents also causing Cochlear Lesion.
Cochlear Implant for such condition is not adviced because of Cochlear Lesion results are poor.
Treatment for hearing loss in Meniere's Disease
Patient of menier's disease is treated for hearing loss is adviced not to use hearing aids to meniere's side which will facilitate the growth of vestibular mebrane and adviced not to undergo dental implant or dental scraping with machine or manual method, or weight lifting or any activities causing pressure to cochlear because it increases the condition and adviced not to take coffee, alcohol, pan, salty foods, bringal etc., and adviced to drink higher amount of water and diuretics and ama pachana aushadis adviced to tackle auto-immune condition. Symptoms of rised hearing denotes ruptured vetibular membrane united and mixed liquids filtered.
